The Great Tail Trail
I was proud to be selected to create not one, but two sculptures for the Great Tail Trail—The Ocean is Calling and Sea Life—as part of a public art trail supporting Julia’s House, a local children’s hospice providing vital care to families facing life-limiting conditions.
The Ocean is Calling, sponsored by Mustang Survival, was inspired by my love of cold-water swimming, breathwork, and mindfulness. It’s a deeply personal piece that reflects resilience, clarity, and the strength found in water—a visual reminder to breathe, let go, and stay present.
Sea Life, sponsored by More Bus, brought a playful, tropical twist to the trail with a Hawaiian surf-themed design—celebrating the joy, colour, and freedom of life by the sea.
With over 40 sculptures featured across the trail, it was an honour to contribute two unique pieces to a project that combines community, creativity, and a truly meaningful cause.
